Drills in Soccer are common but when talking about skills of soccer and soccer training we don’t always talk about working on our weaker foot. Today we are learning how to work on your weaker foot, opposite foot or your non dominant foot. Description: Most players are right footed, so their weaker foot is their left foot. If you are naturally left footed, then your opposite foot is your right foot. Great soccer players can use both feet but usually one foot is always slightly more dominant then the other. So yes, you should strive to be able to play with both feet but don’t think your weak foot has to be as perfect as your dominant foot. My advice is master your technique on your dominant foot, and then when you are ready try it on your non dominant foot. Don’t try to master a new technique using both feet in the beginning; just use your dominant foot. For example. Shooting technique. If you are new to shooting then focus on your dominant foot shooting technique and practice that first. Don’t switch to practicing your weaker foot a few shots into your practice if you still are not great at your dominant foot.
